Built in 1894, this Victorian home is named for the "father of Denver's park system," historians said. Have a peek inside.

DENVER, CO — The Henry Lee House, at 2653 W 32nd Ave. in Denver's Highland neighborhood, has been listed for $1.9 million. Named for Colorado politician and parks commissioner Henry Lee, the six-bedroom, six-bathroom Victorian home was built in 1894.

Lee was elected twice to the House of Representatives and twice to the state legislature.

"He was chairman of the committee on public lands and introduced a bill which provided for the sale of two sections of school land at a nominal price to the city of Denver for park purposes," read an obituary by The Denver Post in 1914.
