DENVER, CO — A new 3800-square-foot indoor golf club is set to open in Denver's Uptown neighborhood in July.
The GC Lounge bar and restaurant, at 1210 E. 17th Avenue, will feature four TrackMan golf simulators that will allow patrons to play on famed courses around the world, the club's founders said. For the less avid golfer, the TrackMan golf simulators will offer mini games such as Capture the Flag, Closest to the Pin and a long drive contest feature.
The restaurant is designed to seat 50 dine-in customers on its patio and nearly 150 guests inside.

Three TrackMan golf simulators will be available for rent through reservations for $60 an hour ($40 for every additional hour) and include all clubs necessary to play a nine or full 18-hole round of golf; however, customers are also encouraged to bring their own clubs. One bay will be available for walk-in guests for hour-long sessions only.
Customers can enjoy play-by-the-hour golfing or simply stop in for a cocktail and a meal.

GC Lounge’s bar and kitchen program will be spearheaded by former 12@Madison Chef de Cuisine Toby Prout, who brings more than 30 years of experience to his new role. His GC Lounge menu features a range of country club fare, including club sandwiches, roasted chicken, crab cakes and vegetarian options.

“I’ve worked for a number of outstanding local restaurants, but this may be one of my most exciting ventures yet,” Prout said. “From the braised short ribs to the vegetable Bolognese, the crab cakes to a classic burger, foodies and casual diners alike are going to love this menu.”
GC Lounge partnered with local architecture and design studio Unum Collaborative to design a space inspired by golf — the restaurant's arches resemble a golf swing, its walls will be wrapped in turf and three floor-to-ceiling glass windows will let in natural light.
“Golf has been a passion of mine from a young age, so it brings me great joy to be able to turn my passion into a business that is sure to bring joy and amazing memories to the lives of others,” said Michael Burbage, founder and principal partner for GC Lounge.
“We anticipate that our avid Coloradan golfers are going to love this concept because it’s not every day you get to play on the same courses as the pros.”
GC Lounge is also set to open locations in Pheonix, Detroit, Orlando, Seattle and Charlotte.
The exact opening date of the Denver club has not yet been announced, but its expected to open its doors in early July. The new bar and restaurant will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., rain or shine.
