Man Arrested In Connection With Baby's Death In Denver
Gianna Rosales was 9 months old when she died from blunt force injuries, the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner said.

DENVER, CO — A man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a baby's death in Denver, police said.
Cain Gallardo, 21, was taken into custody after a first-degree murder investigation that began on Aug. 3, 2020, when 9-month-old Gianna Rosales was taken to a Denver hospital. She suffered injuries, and was pronounced dead the following day.
The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner determined that blunt force injuries caused Gianna's death.

"The Denver Police Department’s Homicide Unit extensively investigated this case, in partnership with the Denver Medical Examiner’s Office, to determine how Gianna sustained the trauma," Denver police said in a news release.
The baby’s mother was Gallardo's girlfriend, police said.
