1 In Custody After Multiple Shots Fired In Denver: Police

Police are telling residents to avoid the area of 27th and Blake Streets.

DENVER, CO — One person was taken into custody after police responded to a report of a person firing a gun in the area of 27th and Blake Streets, police said.

Police do not believe there are any safety concerns at this time.

The person taken into custody was identified only as an adult male. Denver police said multiple shots were fired during the incident.

The 2700 block of Blake Street is expected to remain closed while police investigate.
