Students at Merryhill Preschool Donate Food to Local Families

Students at Merryhill Preschool in Castle Rock held a donation drive to collect food and other essential items in support of SECORCares

Students at Merryhill Preschool in Castle Rock recently donated dozens of food and essential items to SECORCares. Over the past few weeks, students and their families participated in a “Grocery Gallup” to collect items such as canned goods, diapers, baby wipes, clothing and shoes for local families in need. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness helping others in their community.

SECORCares serves the residents of Arapahoe, Douglas and Elbert counties who are struggling with suburban poverty. Through its free food market, guests can shop for food that their families will enjoy, such as fresh produce, meat, dairy, fresh bread, and canned and dry goods.
