CU Denver faculty and staff,

We are thrilled to see more activity on campus as faculty and staff start to return to the office. We also know it’s been a while since we’ve had in-person routines and with that comes figuring out our “next normal.” We are here for you to support your transition back to the office and want you to feel as safe and comfortable as possible. Below are resources we want the campus community to know about.

Many of these efforts are a result of ongoing dialogue with the AAPI communities and the AAPI Faculty and Staff affinity group and our concern for their safety and the safety of all employees as we return to in-person teaching and working. Our goal is to create a safe, culturally responsive, and welcoming space on campus. Furthermore, meetings with the leadership of Denver Asian American-Pacific Islander Commission (DAAPIC), Asian Pacific Development Center (in Aurora), and the Denver NAACP are scheduled this summer to solidify partnerships and effective, timely responses.

Thank you for your continued support and feedback. We look forward to seeing you on campus.

Jennifer Sobanet, Executive Vice Chancellor of Administration and Strategy

Antonio Farias, Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
