Weekend Denver LeafDrop Sites In Denver Expand – Pumpkins Welcome
Feeling rakish? You can dispose of leaves, garden waste and even pumpkins at selected Denver sites, and get a coupon for free leaf bags.

DENVER, CO – Now that Halloween is passed, it's time to turn over a new leaf – or several thousand old leaves – as part of your fall yard cleanup. You can give your leaves and the Jack-O'-Lantern from your porch a second life by dropping your yard waste at a Denver LeafDrop site, so it can be composted.
Beginning this Saturday, six additional LeafDrop locations will open on the weekends through Sunday, Nov. 18. Denver residents can drop off yard waste, which will be turned into a high-quality compost for sale in May.
You can also download a coupon for a free 5-pack of 30-gallon paper leaf bags at participating Ace Hardware Stores. Brown paper bags can be composted with the leaves, which helps save time and reduce plastic waste.

Here are tips from Denver Public Works to make it easier to recycle your autumn leaves:
- Bring your leaves in paper leaf bags, if possible.
- Make sure leaves do not contain branches or other materials.
- Never rake or blow leaves into the street, as they can clog storm sewers and street sweepers.
