Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Denver
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Denver and other Front Range cities.

DENVER, CO — The National Weather Service has issued a weather alert for Denver.
A winter weather advisory will be in effect from 3 p.m. Monday until 3 a.m. Tuesday.
Between 3 and 6 inches of snow are expected to fall, weather officials said.

"Plan on slippery road conditions," the alert read. "The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening commute."
"Snowfall rates around one inch per hour can be expected along the I-25 Corridor, and up to 2 inches per hour in the Front Range Foothills. Temperatures will drop quickly, causing a possible flash freeze on roads and very slick/hazardous travel conditions."

The advisory was also issued for Fort Collins, Greeley and Castle Rock.
Boulder, Longmont, Arvada, Golden and Lakewood are under a winter storm warning.

"Slow down and use caution while traveling," the alert read.
