160-Year-Old Bar Reopens In Golden
After getting a face lift, Golden mainstay Buffalo Rose has reopened with a new outdoor patio.

GOLDEN, CO — After being closed for nearly half a year, one of the oldest bar-restaurants in the state has reopened. Buffalo Rose, at 1119 Washington Ave in Golden, has undergone a significant renovation. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held outside the new space Friday.
The new renovation includes a new bar with a clear retractable roof and a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen.
The Buffalo Rose event venue has also been completely refurbished with historical design elements such as steel roof trusses, classic brick walls and original windows. Facility upgrades include all new flooring, bathrooms, lighting, heating and air-conditioning, audio/visual systems, decorative wood and steel finishes, a new collection of original artwork and refurbished antiques.
