2 With Minor Injuries in Fire At Genesee Mountain Home
Two people were treated for minor injuries after an explosion and fire at a home in the mountains near Golden, the JeffCo sheriff said.

GENESEE, CO – Two people were treated for minor injuries and six nearby homes were evacuated Tuesday afternoon in Genesee after a fire and "minor explosion" broke out.
Firefighters from the Genesee and Foothills fire departments responded to the blaze in the 22000 block of Tree Top Lane, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said.
Currently responding to a structure fire & minor explosion in the 22000 block of Tree Top Lane. 6 nearby homes evacuated as a precaution but are no longer in danger. 2 minor injuries treated on scene.
