Golden Police Investigating Attacks On Homeless
Police are asking anyone with information about the attacks to come forward.

GOLDEN, CO — Golden police are seeking witnesses after attacks on homeless people were reported near the Colorado School of Mines. An attack reported this week was similar to an unsolved case in January, police said.
In both cases, a man yelled "get out of my city/town" and assaulted the victims, police said.
Two men were attacked with a blunt object Wednesday morning near 14th and Jackson, according to police. Both men suffered injuries that are not life-threatening.

Police said they believe the general public is not at risk, as the attack was targeting homeless people.
Two transients were also attacked in January near where the latest attack occurred, police said. One was hit in the neck with a blunt object, and the suspect tried to use a stun gun on the victims.

The suspect is described as a white man between 25 and 40 years old, between 5'8 and 5'10 and 140 to 160 pounds. He has blue eyes, and was wearing dark clothes and a dark mask, police said.
