Golden Week Ahead Weather: Sunny, Storms Threaten

GOLDEN, CO — Every day this week is expected to be mostly sunny or sunny, with a chance of storms through Thursday afternoon. High temperatures will stick in the mid to high 80s.

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook warning of "one or two severe thunderstorms" that may hit Tuesday afternoon across the Palmer Divide do the southeast Plains. Hail may be a threat.

A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming northeast 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.
