Hazmat Spill On US 6 at Loveland Pass Snarls Golden Traffic
An overturned fuel tanker on US 6 near Loveland Pass closed the highway all afternoon for cleanup.

GOLDEN, CO – Hazardous material cleanup crews worked all afternoon Friday on US Highway 6 near Loveland Pass where an overturned tanker truck closed the highway.
The Colorado State Patrol reported that emergency workers were unloading 8,000 gallons of fuel from the truck, which flipped onto its side Friday morning.
Other truck traffic was being directed through the Eisenhower and Johnson tunnels, CSP said.
