Jefferson County Government: Flying Legends Victory Tour Stops At RMMA

Book a tour of the B-17G Flying Fortress bomber, “Sentimental Journey” – either on the ground, or if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, in the air – and learn the ins and outs of the 77-year-old World War II-era plane.

The Flying Legends of Victory Tour is operated by volunteer Commemorative Air Force members who have a passion for preserving and promoting the history of historical aircraft. 

Ground tours are available Thursday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Friday-Monday from 2-6 p.m. Ground tour tickets are $10 per person or $20 for a family of four. Rides on the B-17 Bomber are available Friday-Sunday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and cost $425 per waist compartment seat or $850 per bombardier/navigator seat. 

All proceeds support the preservation and tour of historical aircraft.
