Here in Jefferson County, we experience a diverse amount of risk in performing various functions within the communities we serve. Safety is our top priority for all of our programs and services, including facilities, roadwork, public health, parks, public safety, security and Head Start. Our safety and risk professionals throughout Jefferson County implement various initiatives designed to reduce risks while conducting these programs and services. This allows for improved safety and fiscal stewardship for our employees and the community we serve.
