Police were searching for suspects after a shooting outside Golden Ridge Condominiums.

GOLDEN, CO — A man has turned himself in to Golden police after a shooting outside a condominium complex in the city on July 4. A person was shot in the parking lot of the Golden Ridge Condominiums at 1300 Golden Circle at about noon, police said.
The man who was shot told police that he pulled into the parking lot and overheard two men fighting with a woman. There was a confrontation, and the man who pulled into the lot was shot in the right hip, police said. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
"There were many witnesses to this event, and the witnesses have been very helpful in helping Golden Police track down the people involved so quickly," GPD said in a social media post.
