GOLDEN, CO — Both lanes of North Washington Avenue in Golden have now opened after weather delays and other setbacks. A prematurely-corroded water main also caused an unexpected delay, city officials said.

Despite both lanes of traffic re-opening, there's more work to be done on the roadway, the city said. Some striping, signage and pavement markings need to be completed. The ramps at Hwy 58 also need to be finished, officials said.

All work should be wrapped up by the end of June, the city said. Officials thanked drivers for their patience.
