Table Mountain Inn Agrees To Fine After Underage Liquor Incident

The Golden restaurant illegally served alcohol to an underage patron in December, liquor board said.

GOLDEN, CO -- Golden's long-standing Table Mountain Inn restaurant asked the city's local licensing authority to pay a fine rather than have their liquor license suspended after a minor was served alcohol in December, 2017.

The Table Mountain Inn at 1310 Washington Avenue, was allowed to renew their liquor license after paying a $2,224.36 fine (equivalent to a percentage of four days of alcohol sales at the hotel's bar).

According to an order to show cause, an employee at the Table Mountain Inn served alcohol to a person under age 21 on Dec. 20, 2017. The restaurant reported that employee had immediately been terminated. The licensing authority pointed out that the restaurant had a similar offense in 2014.
