ARAPAHOE COUNTY, CO — Arapahoe County will shift to Level Blue on Colorado's COVID-19 dial at 6 a.m. Sunday, officials announced Friday night.

The new level will allow all businesses in the county to operate under higher capacities and with fewer restrictions.

"The move will most significantly affect allowable capacity levels at restaurants and indoor and outdoor events, including religious services," Arapahoe County said in a news release.

"Although these are very encouraging developments, the Arapahoe County Board of Commissioners is urging everyone to continue using anti-COVID best practices, including mask wearing, hand washing, social distancing and avoiding large gatherings outside of households."
