City Of Littleton Snow Removal: Priorities, Policies, Map
With more snow expected later this week, here's a reminder of the city's snow removal strategies and residents' responsibilities.
LITTLETON, CO — More snow is expected later this week and over the weekend in Denver's metro area. The City of Littleton's Public Works Department has been busy clearing snow off roadways, and it's important for residents to understand which streets are prioritized, officials said. During a snow storm, the city's goal is to clear Priority 1 streets first, and when they are considered passable, crews begin plowing and de-icing Priority 2 streets.
If Littleton receives six or more inches of snow, crews will plow down the center of residential streets when all Priority 1 and Priority 2 streets are clear.
