Colorado Teen Book Con Comes To Littleton High School
A special FREE gathering of Young Adult authors and young readers ages 13-20 will be sponsored by the Tattered Cover Bookstore Nov. 3

LITTLETON, CO – Get ready for the march of the young readers in Littleton. The Tattered Cover Bookstore will host an event for young readers and they authors they love at the 2018 Colorado Teen Book Con, which takes place all day Saturday, Nov. 3, at Littleton High School.
More than 20 Young Adult authors will meet and greet their fans, ages 13-20, who get in FREE from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at 199 East Littleton Blvd, Littleton.
The event features a keynote speaker, author panels, a writing event and a special panel with three literary agents. Plus, a big author signing at the end of the day and food trucks.

The keynote speaker will be NY Times best-selling author Jason Reynolds, whose spoken-word poem For Every One was performed at the Kennedy Center for the unveiling of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. Washington DC-based Reynolds has taken on the personal author challenge of writing "non-boring books" that will entice young men and boys to read.
Panels of young-adult authors will enjoy lively conversation across the school building with the following panels:

Even though the event is meant exclusively for teens, the Tattered Cover is looking for educator volunteersfrom Metro Denver who might want to attend and help with light event work such as work at the welcome desk or work as a room minder. The conference also wants to encourage adult chaperones who sponsor teen writing clubs, or other groups of teens to register as well.
