Global TEDWomen Celebration Comes To Metro Denver
TEDxCherryCreekWomen 2018 holds event Nov. 30

From TedX: Once a year, the TED community comes together to celebrate women through TEDWomen, a three-day global conference featuring 300 TEDx sites around the world. Denver-area women can once again be part of the celebration at TEDxCherryCreekWomen 2018 on Friday, Nov. 30, from noon to 8:30 p.m. at the Infinity Park Event Center in Glendale. This year’s event features a powerful lineup of 12 presenters and 8 entertainers, all of whom will share ideas and performances based on this year’s global theme, “Showing Up.” Early bird tickets are on sale now through Sept. 30 for $75 at tedxcherrycreek.com/tedxccw18.
“Women in the workplace are often voices that are overlooked. It was important to us to put together a slate of presenters whose voices have historically been unheard,” said Dafna Michaelson Jenet, founder of TEDxCherryCreekWomen. “After culling through more than a hundred applications, our final selection came down to packaging a powerful event that will elevate, empower, and engage women under our globally shared theme, ‘Showing Up.’”
