Littleton Halloween Safety Guidelines
Public health officials are encouraging families to get creative so they can have fun and stay safe.
LITTLETON, CO — On top of everything else parents have to navigate amid the coronavirus pandemic, COVID-19 safe costumes and trick-or-treating have been added to the list.
The Tri-County Health Department has released a series of tips for keeping people safe on Halloween. Most of Denver's metro area has seen a surge of coronavirus cases and some counties risk increased restrictions if the surge continues.
People are asked to avoid close contact with people outside their households. Only individually-wrapped candy should be handed out, and everyone should wash their hands while handling candy:
