Littleton's Weekends On Main To Host Silent Disco

Have you ever been to a silent disco? Littleton is hosting an outdoor dance on Saturday.

LITTLETON, CO — Littleton's popular Weekends on Main outdoor dining initiative has been extended through the Halloween weekend to allow restaurants and businesses to expand into the city's central corridor, and this Saturday, organizers have planned a silent disco.

From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., socially-distanced dancers can get down to music on wireless headphones. Silent discos are often held so that the music doesn't violate noise ordinances or drown out gatherings nearby.

Main Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from Friday at 3 p.m. through Saturday at 10 p.m. to allow restaurants to expand their seating for diners. Prince, Nevada, and Curtice Streets will remain open to allow access to the businesses on those streets.

Maha Soul is offering two discounted yoga classes at 8:30 and 10 a.m. on Saturday in Bega Park. Visit Maha Soul to reserve a spot and use promo code WOM at checkout. Masks are not required, but yogis must practice social distancing.

The city worked with the Littleton Business Chamber and the Historic Downtown Littleton Merchants Association to launch Weekends on Main, which was created to help restaurants obtain additional seating outside to compensate for the seating lost inside due to social-distancing requirements.
