Metro Denver Long Weekend Weather Forecast: Sun, Then Snow

More snow is expected to fall on Presidents Day.

After back-to-back snow storms in many Colorado regions, a sunny sky is expected on Valentine's Day in Denver's metro area, with a high of 49. According to the National Weather Service, there will be a mostly-clear sky Friday evening, but if you're planning any outdoor excursions, bundle up — Friday night's low will be around 22, and wind could gust up to 21 mph.

A sunny sky is expected Saturday, with a high of around 44, weather officials said. The southwest wind will settle to around 7 mph.

Some clouds will then creep in Sunday, which will see a low of around 25 and a bit of sun. Overnight Sunday there's a 20 percent chance of rain and snow showers.

Snow showers could be coming on Presidents Day, and by the evening, the temperature will drop to around 14, according to the National Weather Service. Some sun could however peak through on Monday, helping to boost the high to around 41 during the day.
