The Front Range will get a break from smoky air and frigid cold this weekend.

The National Weather Service has released a promising weekend weather forecast for the metro Denver area. Residents can expect a clear sky and temperatures that will rise back up into the 80s.
This week's snowy and rainy weather helped battle wildfires in Colorado, and smoke pollution on the Front Range has cleared significantly.
You can expect a sunny sky Saturday with a high near 78, and southwest wind around 5 to 7 mph, weather officials said.

The clear sky will continue Saturday night with a low around 48 and light wind.

A sunny sky is also expected over metro Denver Sunday, with a high of 83 and light wind. Then a clear sky is predicted Sunday night, with a low around 51.
The sunny trend will continue Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the mid 80s.
