New Watering Rules Set To Begin In Littleton
Here's what Littleton residents need to know about water conservation rules.
LITTLETON, CO — Colorado will continue to face drought, and it's important for residents to use water efficiently, Denver Water said.
A large amount of the spring runoff will be absorbed by dry mountain soil before the water reaches reservoirs.
Denver Water released the following rules, which go into effect May 1:

- Water during cooler times of day. Lawn watering is not allowed between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
- Water no more than three days per week
- Do not allow water to pool in gutters, streets and alleys
- Repair leaking sprinkler systems within 10 days
- Do not irrigate while it is raining or during high winds
- Use a hose nozzle with a shut-off valve when washing cars
