Tuesday Air Quality Forecast For Metro Denver, Boulder
State public health officials have released a smoke and pollution forecast for the Front Range.

Pollution and smoke in metro Denver and Boulder are expected to improve Tuesday. Wind in the region will ease the spread of smoke flowing in from in-state and out-of-state wildfires, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
Most Front Range areas will be under the 'moderate' air quality rating Tuesday, but regions west of Fort Collins could reach the 'unhealthy for sensitive groups' category, public health officials said.
Visibility along the Front Range is expected to be 'moderate' Tuesday.

Ozone concentrations are expected to be in the 'good to moderate range' Tuesday, so unusually sensitive people should consider reducing prolonged or heavy outdoor exertion. Fine particulate matter concentrations are expected to be in the 'moderate' category.
