Win Up To $500 In Littleton Historic Scavenger Hunt

LITTLETON, CO – How are your sleuthing skills? Bring them, and $5, to Town Hall Saturday morning for a chance to win a grand prize of $500 in the 7th Annual Historic Downtown Littleton Scavenger Hunt.

Presented by Historic Littleton Inc., the annual scavenger hunt is a historic odyssey around the especially significant sites of the oldest parts of the city. The event runs from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The hunt was created "as a way to raise awareness and excitement of the treasure we call Historic Downtown Littleton," organizers say.

Participants buy a $5 "Clue List" at Littleton's historic Town Hall (2450 W. Main Street) any time after 11 a.m., and then get sleuthing. The clue list has a map and a list of participating merchants as stops for the hunt.

Costumed re-enactors will tell you about Littleton's history, so don't feel out of place if you choose to wear a deerstalker cap and sport a magnifying glass.

Gather at Town Hall again at 3 p.m. to have your clue list checked for accuracy. All correct clue lists will be entered to win. (You must be present to win).

• First Prize = $500
• Second Prize = $300
• FOUR Third Prize Winners = $100
• Other prizes are donated by Littleton merchants.
