Avon Company Unveils $6 Million Innovation Hub
A local company has spent has renovated an industrial space.
AVON, CT - Locally based company iDevices has opened an innovation hub in its 48,000 square-foot facility, The Hartford Business Journal reported. iDevices, which develops and sells smart switches, plugs, sockets, outlets, thermostats and other devices, spent $6 million renovating an industrial space at 50 Tower Lane.
The company employs 100-plus people and moved from a Simsbury Road location last year. Its new digs include several collaborative workspaces for software engineers and app developers along with perks like a mini massage and salon parlor, a video game room, pool tables, a bar, and a fitness area.
