A very popular item are full color 5” x 7” folded notecards with scenes of historic Avon painted by students at Avon High School! These sturdy cardstock notecards are available in sets of 8 for $8.00 or two packages for $15.00. There are a total of four scenes on the front of each card – the “flower house” on West Avon Road; the covered bridge at Countryside Park; Pine Grove School House; and the forge at Avon Old Farms School.

For the history fan, the most popular items for sale are the many books ranging from a comprehensive history of Avon to recognizable Arcadia Images old photo books of the town. Catch’d on Fire from History Press is a result of more than ten years of research of the 50-year journals of the first minister of Northington, later Avon, from the colonial period to the early industrial revolution. It takes the reader through the life of a hometown minister who does everything from attending to births & deaths, provides counseling and prayer, attends events such as the Second Great Awakening and observes Gen. Washington and his troops camped out in Farmington during the American Revolution.
