Avon Obituary: Alice Betts, 85

Alice (Buck) Betts, 85, of Avon, beloved wife of the late Morgan Hayes Betts, passed way Friday, May 25, 2018.

Born in New Richmond, OH, daughter of the late George and Rose (Masters) Buck, she was raised there and lived in Cincinnati, OH before moving to Avon 51 years ago. She was a former member of the Avon Women’s Club and had been employed by Tweeds and Tees in Farmington for many years.

She leaves her daughter Suzanne H. Betts of Norwalk; nephews Steve McClanahan and Sam Betts; and a niece Lisa Power. Besides her husband she was predeceased by a sister Dolores Buck.

A graveside service will be held, Monday, June 4, 2018, 1 PM, at Simsbury Cemetery.
