
Patricia M. (Graziano) Havens, 82, of Avon, beloved wife for 59 years of Donald R. Havens, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at home surrounded by her family.
One of eight children born to the late Albino and Mary (Evans) Graziano, she was raised in Rhode Island and lived in the Bronx NY, Smithtown NY and Castle Rock, CO before moving to Avon in 1992. Patricia was a Registered Nurse, graduating from the Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing in 1957.
She spent 12 years as a surgical nurse in neurology, and 23 years as a labor and delivery nurse in hospitals in New York and Colorado. She retired after several years as a nursing supervisor for the Avon Health Center. She was a communicant of the Church of Saint Ann, was an avid reader, and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Donald, Patricia leaves behind her children, Thomas C. Havens and his wife Robin of Port Washington, NY, Mark C. Havens and his wife Renee of Riverdale, NY, and Karen E. Leone and her husband Gene of Chicago, IL; eight grandchildren, Ryan and Jake Havens, Ethan and William Havens, Julianna, Dominique, Michael, and Adrienne Leone; a brother, Donald Graziano of Wakefield, RI; a sister, Rosemary Graziano of North Providence, RI; and 22 nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by brothers Louis, Robert, Joseph, and Richard Graziano; and a sister, Lillian Reid.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Church of Saint Ann, 289 Arch Road, Avon. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Eastchester, NY, at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made either to The ELIJA Foundation, 11 Laurel Lane, #1, Levittown, NY 11756, an organization that supports families with autistic children, including Patricia’s grandson Jake, or to the Alzheimer’s Association, CT Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd, Ste 4B, Southington, CT 06489-1058.
