A local restaurant has landed on the cover of a national publication.
AVON, CT — Avon-based E&D Pizza Company has been featured on the cover of the October issue of PMQ Pizza Magazine.
The magazine is the #1 business publication for the pizza restaurant industry and is mailed to over 40,000 operators in the U.S. monthly, according to a statement from E&D.
Owner Michael Androw speaks in the article about how the restaurant doesn't just provide great pizza, but is also focused on offering family fun. In fact, the restaurant is named after his sons Enzo, 9, and Dario, 6.

"As parents, who do we appreciate the most? It’s the people that do stuff for our children,” Androw said in the article.
Androw gained several decades of experience working in all aspects of the restaurant industry before opening E&D. When he opened the restaurant five years ago, it started with a focus on carryout, but soon expanded as demand increased.
