Avon Police Blotter: Jan. 17-18, 2014

The following information was provided by the Avon Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Assault

James J. Huang, 51, of 40 Woodmont, Avon, was charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call and risk of injury or impairing the morals of a minor on Jan. 18 at 11:26 a.m. Police released him on a $1,500 non-surety bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 21.

Benjamin Paine, 21, of 68 Tamara Circle, Avon, was charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and first-degree unlawful restraint on Jan. 18 at 12:45 a.m. Police released him in a $500 surety bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 21.

Tampering

David J. Dzenutis, 50, of 512 Cherry Brook Rd., Canton, was charged with avoidance or tampering with an ignition interlock device in Jan. 17 at 1:52 p.m. Police released him on a written promise to appear in court on Jan. 29.
