Animal Nuisance
Mary Good, 51, of 10 Birchwood Rd., Avon,, was charged with animal nuisance on Aug. 28 at 9:06 a.m. Police released her on a written promise to appear in court on Sept. 18.Â
Assault
Rene A. Mitchell, 32, of 434 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury, was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace on Aug. 27 at 11:53 p.m. Police issued her a $5,000 non-surety bond. She was scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 28.Â
