Avon School Lunch Prices to Increase

The price increase is effective in 2014-15.

Students will be paying 25 cents more next year for school lunches. 

The slight increase will raise the prices for lunch to the following amounts:

  • $2.50 for students in kindergarten to fourth grade.
  • $2.75 for grades five to 12. 
The price increase will start on the first school day of 2014-15, according to John Spang, finance director for Avon schools.
