Coffee With A Cop

AVON, CT - From the desk of the Avon Police Department: The Avon Police Department has planned the first Coffee With a Cop event, scheduled for Tuesday, June 20 2017 at The Fresh Market, 315 West Main Street, Avon, Connecticut, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Members of the public are encouraged to attend this free event.

The event is planned as an informal way for the public to meet and talk with Avon Police officers, in a casual setting. The Fresh Market has been instrumental in launching this event with the Avon Police Department, and the Department is appreciative of their efforts in supporting our philosophy of community policing. The Fresh Market has generously donated coffee and light refreshments for this event.

Also on hand will be the Department's four new Patrol Officers, recent graduates of the Connecticut State Police Academy. As they begin their law enforcement careers, this event will afford a mutual opportunity for Avon residents and the new Officers to become acquainted.
