Do a Caucus, A Democratic Caucus. Ray, the Light of Avon Summer Theater Stars...

And other Avon news of the day for Tuesday, July 23.

Hello, Avon!

Today marks the first of a new feature called, well, "Today in..." We'll feature snippets of the happenings of the day, share interesting stories in town, fun facts and other much more.

While we'd love to tell you everything you should know in one day, remember Rome, and Avon for that matter, wasn't built in a day. We'll do our best to give you the key highlights. And, as always, if there's something we don't mention, it's still important to us that you can share that information with our readers.

Please utilize the comments under this post, our blogging platform, Boards and calendar to tell us other information you want people to know about your town.

For now, here's what you should know Tuesday in Avon:

Get Social!: Did you know Avon Patch is on Twitter and Facebook? We hope you follow our news and like us, but please make it Facebook and Twitter official.

In the words of Porky Pig, "That's all folks!" At least for today. You'll hear from us again tomorrow. And the day after that and the day after that.
