Ensign Bickford Applies for Earth Removal and Other News

Happy Tuesday, Avon! 

Here's what's going on in town today. 

Tonight, you might want to check out the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting if you're interested in Ensign Bickford's application for an earth removal permit. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Chamber at Avon Town Hall, building 1 at 60 West Main St. 

In Avon High School sports news, there are two home games today. The Avon High School girls varsity soccer team plays Granby at 4 p.m. at Fisher Meadow and the girls varsity volleyball team plays Lewis Mills at the high school at 5:30 p.m. Go Falcons! 

Were your kids assigned to Jane Ellen Peregrin as a counselor. After her departure, the high school administration is actively working on a plan to make sure your children have the support they need in the new school year and to provide a smooth transition.
