Fatal Accident Under Investigation In Avon: Report
The accident occurred late Friday evening.
AVON, CT — On Friday night the Avon Volunteer Fire Department responded to a serious motor vehicle accident at Waterville Road between Aqueduct and Talcott Notch, officials said. Fire officials said Saturday morning that the driver of the vehicle did not survive.
NBC CT reports that it was a rollover crash and a 2002 black Dodge Durango was found upside down when emergency responders arrived. The victim is a man and his identity has not yet been released.
