Gifts of Love Leadership Transition

Susan Pribyson stepped down as the Executive Director of Gifts of Love today. The work will continue.

On March 31, Susan Pribyson stepped down as the Executive Director of Gifts of Love. During the search for her successor Mary Jane Lund will serve as Interim Executive Director. No other staff changes are expected.

The Board has engaged an outside search firm to identify and recommend a successor who will carry on the work the organization has provided to the community for the past 30 years. Lund is not among the candidates who will be considered.

“I know I speak on behalf of the Gifts of Love Board of Directors, staff and volunteers when I say we appreciate Susan’s work and are grateful for her service to the organization and our community,” said Maura Fitzgerald, board chair. “As we chart a new course, it’s important that our clients and the community know that Gifts of Love is stable and will continue with our mission and services supporting the needs of working families facing financial challenges. Our dedicated staff and 135 volunteers will continue to provide food, clothing, household necessities and self-sufficiency consultation to our clients. For over three decades, this organization has provided programs and education that help working families attain financial independence and that work continues every day.”
