Holiday Toy Drive Upcoming at Avon Police Department

AVON, CT — The Avon Police Department will be holding a Holiday Toy Drive at Police Headquarters, 60 West Main Street, Avon, on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Donations of new, unwrapped toys are welcome and will benefit the patients at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford.

Police personnel will also be giving “mini-tours” of the Police Department that day during those same hours, and children will be able to check out the department’s patrol cruisers.
