Kindergarten Registration Open For Avon Schools

AVON, CT — Children whose 5th birthday falls on or before January 1, 2022 are eligible to attend kindergarten in the 2021-2022 school year. Kindergarten registration is a two-step online process, which is now open.

STEP 1:

• Complete and submit Enrollment Express Pre-Registration Form
• Receive an email from APS Registrar with PowerSchool login instructions

STEP 2:

• Upload proof of your child’s identity into PowerSchool
• Upload proof of residency into PowerSchool
• Complete Enrollment Packet in PowerSchool

In order to register your child, you will need the following documents

Proof of your child’s identity:

• original US birth certificate, or
• current US passport, or
• foreign original birth certificate with a current passport

Proof of residency (must include name & current address):

• current signed lease and utility bill, or
• mortgage statement and utility bill, or
• warranty deed/title and utility bill

Kindergarten parent orientation meetings will take place at Roaring Brook School and Pine Grove School on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 6:30 p.m.
