Man Dies In Plymouth Drowning Incident

PLYMOUTH, CT — Police are investigating following the disappearance of a Terryville man who went missing at Lake Winfield in Plymouth, according to NBC CT. Dispatchers received the call reporting that the man had been swimming around 6 p.m. and believed the man was underwater.

Emergency crews responded to the scene, performed a water rescue, and pulled the man from the water.

Jimmie Ferguson, 45, was transported to Bristol Hospital where he was later pronounced dead, according to NBC CT.
