Police Report Few Incidents Labor Day Weekend

It was a quiet Labor Day weekend in Avon.

Police reported no arrests.

There were three motor vehicle accidents, but none resulting in injury, police said.   

Otherwise, there was one motor vehicle stop and the driver was charged with an infraction of operating without a license. 

Recently, police put a speed radar sign near Avon High School to remind people to drive safely and collect data. 

Driving safety remains a large concern for many Avon residents in light of recent accidents in the area and complaints about speeding on certain Avon roads.
