Thanksgiving Tent at Miller Foods to open Nov. 21
The tent gives consumers a one-stop shopping venue where turkey, trimmings, fresh vegetables and desserts can be purchased for the holiday.
AVON – Miller Foods’ Thanksgiving Tent, an annual tradition for more than 20 years, will open Saturday, Nov. 21 at 9 a.m., with music provided by Connecticut’s Bristol Old Tyme Fiddlers. The tent gives consumers a one-stop shopping venue where turkey, trimmings, fresh vegetables and desserts can be purchased for the holiday.
In addition to what Miller Foods, home of Oma’s Pride pet food, has to offer, several area vendors will sell their wares under the five-day tent event. They include Avon Cider Mill, Canton Garden Center (holiday decorations), J. Foster ice cream, and “Sit. Stay. Forever.” – a company that designs and manufactures 100 percent USA toxin-free/hypoallergenic pet products.
Hot cider doughnuts will be made and sold outside the tent for hungry shoppers, and Miller Foods will serve free samples of their products as well as J. Foster ice cream.
The outdoor tent will be open through Wednesday, Nov. 25. The tent schedule is: Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 21 and 22, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Monday, Nov. 23, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Tuesday, Nov. 24, 8 a.m.-7 p.m.; Wednesday, Nov. 25, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
