Town Of Avon Announces Key Dates In The Budget Process

The Board of Finance Public Hearing regarding the proposed budget will be held virtually on April 5 at 7 p.m.

The process to prepare the FY 2021/2022 budget that takes effect on July 1, 2021 is well underway. Key dates leading to the budget referendum are noted below.

  • The Board of Finance Public Hearing regarding the proposed budget will be held virtually on April 5th at 7:00 p.m. Access instructions and guidance pertaining to the submission of comments will be made available on the Town’s website prior to the hearing.
  • The Board of Finance Budget Workshop will be held virtually on April 7th at 7:00 p.m.
  • The Town Meeting will be held on May 3rd at 7:00 p.m.; location to be determined.
  • The Budget Referendum is scheduled for May 12th at the Avon Senior Center.

Any updates to this schedule will be shared on the Town’s website as they become available.
