Water Main Replacement To Affect Avon Traffic
The town has announced the schedule for an upcoming water main replacement project in Farmington.

AVON, CT — Beginning Monday, July 12th, Connecticut Water Company will be completing a water main replacement project on Route 4, Farmington Avenue, in Farmington. Motorists on Route 4 can expect a detour between West Avon Road and Brickyard Road.
The work hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Connecticut Water estimates that the detour should be complete the by the end of August and the project should be complete by the end of September.
