Who Decorated the Avon Village Marketplace Giant Rocking Chair?

The giant rocking chair in Avon Village Place has become a town icon and if you've driven by it this holiday season, you've probably noticed it's looking pretty festive. 

Avon Girl Scout Troop 60449 decorated the chair and the gazebo at the Route 44 shopping plaza this holiday season.

Nancy Anstey, of the Farmington Valley Visitor's Association, shared these photos with Patch from the day the girls decorated the chair.
